Motorcycle Crash Slippery Ford California in Slippery Ford, California: An 85-year-old man from Lincoln, Calif., died in a head-on collision between a white 2009 BMW F650GS motorcycle and a Lincoln Navigator on US-50 near Slippery Ford Road, east of Twin Bridges, just before 11:19 a.m. Monday. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it crossed into the westbound lane and struck the SUV head-on. The 38-year-old woman driving the Lincoln Navigator was not injured. California Highway Patrol and other first responders were on the scene, and life-saving measures were attempted but the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries.
