Car Crash Iowa Today in Iowa: A 2017 Nissan Rogue heading east on U.S. 20 crossed the center line just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday and collided head-on with a westbound 2025 Chevy Equinox near mile marker 224 in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The driver of the Equinox, Abby Hamann, 23, of Grundy Center, was injured and transported to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the Nissan Rogue, Tracy Geraldine Leytem, 50, of Cedar Rapids, was killed in the crash. The Iowa State Patrol, Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office, Waterloo Police, Cedar Falls Police, and Covenant Ambulance responded to the scene.
