Alcohol believed to be factor in fatal Germfask dirt bike crash

Motorcycle Crash Grant Michigan in Grant, Michigan: A 33-year-old Germfask man was driving a dirt bike on M-77 near Grant Road in Germfask Township when he crashed into a legally parked pickup truck on the shoulder of the roadway around 10:50 p.m. Sunday. Despite life-saving efforts by two citizens, responding Michigan State Police troopers, and EMS personnel, the man sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead while being transported to the hospital. Michigan State Police said alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
