Pedestrian Hit Boston Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts: Ibraim Matos, 37, allegedly crashed his own car on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan, Boston, then carjacked another vehicle at a nearby car wash. Minutes later, he allegedly sped onto a sidewalk on a different part of Blue Hill Avenue, striking and killing 32-year-old Mabinty Janneh of Dorchester, whose body was pulled under the car and dragged several hundred feet. The stolen car then crashed into an MBTA bus and stopped. Bystanders pulled Matos out and punched him until police arrived and took him into custody. Matos pleaded not guilty to murder and carjacking charges and was ordered held without bail, with a 20-day mental health evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.
