Fall Injury Middle Georgia Georgia in Middle Georgia, Georgia: Four men from Bryan County were traveling in a pickup truck along Pea Ridge Road near Highway 441, south of Eatonton, in Putnam County, early Friday when a large oak tree uprooted and crashed onto the vehicle. The tree fell directly onto the cab, badly damaging the truck. Two men sitting in the back seat died at the scene, and the two other men were injured and taken by ambulance to a hospital in Macon for treatment. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene around 6:15 a.m., and the incident remains under investigation.
