Sandusky County man dies in traffic crash
Summary
Car Crash County Ohio in County, Ohio: A 65-year-old man was killed Saturday when he swerved off the road and the Jeep Commander he was driving overturned. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Fremont post said the crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m. on County Road 62 near County Road 80 in Jackson Township. Doyle B. Durst, 65, of Bettsville, was eastbound on County Road 62 when he drove off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned. Durst was ejected from his vehicle and succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
