KSP: 2 individuals dead following motorcycle accident on Campbellsville Bypass

Motorcycle Crash Campbellsville Kentucky in Campbellsville, Kentucky: On Saturday around 2:30 p.m., a collision occurred on the Campbellsville Bypass in Taylor County near the Campbellsville Walmart involving a 2012 Nissan Versa and a 2025 Suzuki motorcycle. The 57‑year‑old driver of the Nissan, Ann Copass, was turning left onto the bypass when she entered the path of the northbound motorcycle operated by 35‑year‑old Christopher Penoyer, whose front door was struck. Both occupants died at the scene; Copass was pronounced dead by the Taylor County Coroner’s Office and Penoyer was taken to a hospital where he later died and was also pronounced dead. Kentucky State Police are investigating the fatal collision with assistance from local police, sheriff’s office, fire department, EMS, coroner’s office, and the highway department.
