Pedestrian Hit Mattapan Massachusetts in Mattapan, Massachusetts: On Saturday afternoon in Mattapan, Ibraim Matos, 37, allegedly carjacked a vehicle and drove it the wrong way on Blue Hill Avenue, striking a woman on a sidewalk and crashing into another vehicle at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Fairway Street. He then fled to a nearby car wash, where he pulled another woman out of her vehicle, got behind the wheel, and continued driving down Blue Hill Avenue before striking an MBTA bus. Community members forcibly removed Matos from his vehicle and restrained him until police arrived; he was arrested Sunday on charges of murder, carjacking, and leaving the scene of two crashes.
