Richland woman killed in crash at Duportail and Hwy 240

Semi Truck Crash Richland Washington in Richland, Washington: A 46-year-old Shoreline, Wash. semi driver hauling an Amazon trailer ran a red light on the Highway 240 bypass at Duportail Street in Richland about 8:30 p.m. Friday and crashed into a Subaru Outback driven by a 58-year-old Richland woman, according to the Washington State Patrol. The Subaru driver died before she could be taken to a hospital. Her granddaughter, a girl who was in the Subaru, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland and was reported recovering. The semi driver was not hurt; WSP said no drugs or alcohol were involved.
