Summary
Car Crash Georgetown Area Delaware in Georgetown area, Delaware: A 52-year-old pickup truck driver died at the scene of a three-vehicle crash just outside Georgetown on June 19. The Chevrolet Silverado driver, Jon Jefferson of Lincoln, was traveling eastbound on Old Furnace Road around 7:20 a.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, the truck crossed over the center line, sideswiped a Toyota Sienna, and struck a Nissan Rogue head-on. The Toyota and Nissan drivers were taken to the hospital with injuries. Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
