Pedestrian Hit Perry Ohio in Perry, Ohio: Amanda J. Speigle, 35, of Salem, was struck and killed by an Oldsmobile that traveled off the right side of the roadway on State Route 45 in front of the Salem Golf Club in Perry Township at 6:17 p.m. on Friday. Speigle was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died there. The driver of the Oldsmobile was unharmed. The Ohio State Highway Patrol stated that drugs and alcohol are believed to have been contributing factors.
