Summary

Motorcycle Crash Nashville Tennessee in Nashville, Tennessee: A 34-year-old Jessica Turner of Nashville was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-24 in South Nashville. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Turner was traveling fast on her 2025 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle when she went through a grassy area as she entered the I-24 entrance ramp from Harding Place, and lost control when the motorcycle returned to pavement. The motorcycle went to the ground and slid across the pavement into the path of a Toyota Sequoia SUV traveling in the same spot; Turner and the motorcycle were then struck by the SUV, and part of the motorcycle also collided with a minivan. Turner died at the scene; the occupants of the SUV and minivan were not injured. The crash was reported at approximately 10:12 a.m. and caused an hours-long closure of all eastbound lanes of I-24.
