Car Crash California Today in California: A 61-year-old Mentor man was killed after crashing his brown 2011 Toyota Scion head-on into a marked Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser on state Route 2 in Lake County. The trooper was driving west on Route 2 near state Route 44 in Painesville Township when the Scion, traveling east in the westbound lanes, struck the cruiser head-on at approximately 8:51 p.m. on June 19.
