Dui Crash San Jose California in San Jose, California: A gold Buick driven by 38‑year‑old Justin Buban of San Jose was pursued by Santa Clara Police after it sped through red lights, crossed the center median and drove on the wrong side of the road on Stevens Creek Boulevard at about 12:16 a.m. Sunday. The pursuit continued onto Highway 880 and into San Jose streets where the vehicle ran a red light and collided with another car at the intersection of Naglee and Park Avenues before finally hitting a traffic pole. The crash killed the Buick’s adult passenger, who was pronounced dead on site, while Buban suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital; two occupants of the other vehicle received minor injuries. Buban has been charged with homicide and additional offenses including evading an officer, reckless driving and DUI, and is being held in custody as investigation continues.
