Summary

Dui Crash Palmer Alaska in Palmer, Alaska: A 32-year-old Wasilla woman, Hannah Lebel, was driving a side-by-side ATV in the Jim Creek Recreation Area near Palmer, Alaska, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday when the vehicle rolled onto its roof. Troopers said there was an odor of alcohol around the vehicle and area, and Lebel was identified as the intoxicated driver. A 10-year-old child suffered massive head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene after 30 minutes of CPR; three other children were taken to a Mat-Su area hospital for treatment and were expected to be OK. Troopers determined the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and that no one in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt.
