According to the Branch County Sheriff's Office, a 22-year-old Hillsdale man driving west failed to stop at the intersection of Fisher Road and S. Ray Quincy Road and crashed into another car driven by a 33-year-old Bronson man. A passing driver noticed a small engine compartment fire in one of the cars and used a fire extinguisher to put it out. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries described as minor.
