Pedestrian Hit Walker Illinois in Walker, Illinois: An 80-year-old Grand Forks, N.D., woman was struck by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Walker, Minnesota on Saturday, June 20, at around 2:00 p.m. The driver, 67-year-old Bradley John Bawek of Lake Elmo, Minn., had a green light and was reportedly waiting for traffic to clear when he struck the pedestrian in the crosswalk. The truck, a 2017 Nissan Tundra, was almost stopped when it struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bemidji Hospital.
