Car Crash Eddington Maine in Eddington, Maine: Wendell Thayer, 50, of Bradford was driving a NE Kenworth company van west on Route 9 near the Eddington town office when he crossed the road and crashed into a Versant Power truck parked in the breakdown lane. He died at the scene. The driver of the Versant Power truck was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, treated, and later released.
