Dog Bite Rocky Mount North Carolina in Rocky Mount, North Carolina: A 2‐year‐old girl was fatally attacked by two mixed‐breed pit bulls inside her grandparents’ home in the Happy Hill community. Police were called to Star Street around 1:30 p.m., and neighbors reported seeing the child being carried out of the house while CPR was attempted. The toddler suffered severe injuries, including open wounds to her legs, head, and ear. The dogs have since been surrendered to Animal Services.
