Car Crash Hurtsboro Alabama in Hurtsboro, Alabama: An ALDOT employee, Amad R. Jackson, was killed when the vehicle he was riding in on Alabama 51 was struck by a dump truck near mile marker 78, about seven miles west of Hurtsboro. The crash occurred Monday and Jackson was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Gary Battle, also an ALDOT employee driving the vehicle, sustained injuries while the dump truck driver was unharmed.
