Battalion 30 established command while additional resources from Deltona Professional Firefighters and The Professional Firefighters of Orange City - IAFF Local 5375 were responding.
Incidents on busy roadways are dangerous enough without drivers creating additional hazards. Florida's Move Over Law exists to protect first responders, law enforcement officers, tow operators, and roadway workers who are serving our community.⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
While crews were actively working to extinguish the fire and secure the scene, one driver chose to ignore emergency vehicles and personnel on the roadway, speeding past the incident as if their destination was more important than the safety of those working just feet away.🚓
