Car Crash Indian Land South Carolina in Indian Land, South Carolina: A 63‐year‐old woman was killed when her car rolled backward in the parking lot of Madison Ridge Apartments. She had exited the vehicle while it was still in reverse and, upon attempting to re-enter, accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brakes. The car accelerated backward, striking her and nearby vehicles. The coroner’s office is investigating with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
