Troopers stopped him for a DWI investigation; he fled on foot, jumped from an elevated section of I‐310 into a swamp, and was subsequently attacked by an alligator while attempting to escape. Police tracked him down with drone assistance and took him into custody after he sustained injuries to both arms.
